It's been a long week

I don't even know where to start...it's been a crazy, long week at our house. 

Wednesday we went to daycare at Dogtopia.  And we did our two favorite things!

We've gotten to watch movies and have doggie snow-cones every Wednesday for a while now and LOVE it!

Thursday, our Mommy worked a long day and we were excited to see her come home.  She wasn't home for long when Melanie, our friend too, and a girl named Rebecca showed up.  I wasn't so sure about Rebecca at first, but after a good sniffing and eye-balling, I decided she was okay too.  Rumor is she is not a dog person, but I bet I can change that!

And if that wasn't enough, Friday night, a bunch of people came over.  They were loud, crazy, and totally ignored me and my bro.  What was that about?!?!  There was food and drinks everywhere too and nobody shared.  I know there are some social workers who read this so someone please, please call APS - you know, Animal Protective Services.  After everyone left, we did get to cuddle on the couch with just our Mommy and if that's not the best thing in the world, I don't know what is.  

It's getting late now though and it's just about cuddle time.  Gotta go...

Then One Where He Speaks in German

The language of Germany.  Wow.  It's tuff (haha, like ruff!).  But, I'm giving it a go and putting my best paw forward to learn how to speak the language.  Let me share what I've learned so far...

Wenn wir zum Kindergarten gehen, spiele ich viel.

What do you think?  Pretty good huh?  I'm still working on my pronunciation, seeing as though it's a little harder when you have a "woof"/"bark"/"ruff" to go with everything, but I'm sure I'll get there soon enough. 

I bet you're all wondering why I'm doing this...because I'm trying to be as marketable as my brother!  I mean, come on, he knows Spanish (being a Chihuahua and all) and that makes him super marketable.  But I've got tricks - so I guess we're even?!?!

Anyhow, time to get back to my German lessons!

The Scent of Betrayal

I'm not sure exactly what's going on but our Mommy came home smelling like dogs today.  And not just dogs, but Chihuahua!  What does she think she is doing?!?!

Although I was excited at first to smell the scent of my cousins, eventually I remembered who the pets are around here - and I thought it was just my brother and I!

Then I heard our Mommy talking (on this thing she always holds up to her ear) and she told someone that she had THREE CHIHUAHUAS in her office today!!!  Wow!

My thoughts changed again and I was then dreaming about a family.  A new, cute, little Chihuahua family.  But that will never happen...and why is a story for another day...

While Mom is Away...

Our mommy dropped us off there this past Wednesday and just picked us up earlier today!  It was basically like a super-long slumber party with all our friends.  We even got to eat snow cones (we had our own but I didn't think it was enough so I tried to get to everyone else's...what can I say, they were great!). 

So, here we are, back at home, with our mommy.  We definitely missed her.  But we're also exhausted from all the playing so I'll leave you with a few pictures for now...

Wee Wednesday

Dear Loyal Readers,

Bo and Rex told me that Dogtopia offers a special shindig on Wednesdays for small creatures. I said I wanted to go as well. Bo thought that was a great idea but Rex, always the negative one, informed me that it is ONLY for canine creatures, not baby humans. Well, my feelings were a little hurt, to say the least.

I thought maybe I could dress up in a Halloween doggie costume and then crawl in the door and maybe no one would notice? Hmmm...I can't crawl yet so that won't work. Bummer. Bo suggested I tell the owners that I taste really yummy when my feet are covered in powdered sugar so maybe I could come at snack time and all the pups could lick my toes. I think this is my best option so far. I'm very determined to go play during Wee Wednesdays.

I have so much in common with small dogs. I get carried everywhere, people constantly say how cute I am, I rely on my mommy for absolutely everything, I love playing with toys, and I LOVE to lick things. I don't see why the the minor fact that I'm a baby human instead of a puppy should mean that I can't go to Dogtopia on Wednesdays!

Don't worry though.  I'm not giving up.  I'll keep you all updated on my plans...

Babysitting is a hard job!

The other day our Mommy told us we would have a visitor for a few days.  So, this past Thursday, our friend Boston showed up! 

Yeah, he's cute, I guess.  Whatever.  Anyhow, I had no idea babysitting was going to be this hard!  Boston is full of energy, covered in curly fur, and super exhausting for me!

For the first few days, I tried to stay away from him, letting my brother Bo handle the babysitting.  I was not in the mood.   But I woke up a new dog today.  And this morning was fun!  I'm already exhausted. 

Boston goes home tomorrow and I'm not sure I'm too happy about that.  Except I will have the whole bed, all the toys, and my Mommy all to myself again (ok, fine.  I'll still share with Bo)!!!

What a Wednesday!

What a day!  Since it was Wednesday, we went to daycare at Dogtopia.  Mommy thought we needed baths and Dogtopia was having a special so we got baths AND pawdicures!  I love getting a pawdicure!  It feels so good to have my paws rubbed - with all the playing I do, ya know?!?!  HA!

Anyhow, we got our baths and pawdicures then it was more play time!  When our Mommy picked us up, we got to new bandanas, and man I look good, if you ask me!  Just see for yourself...

I even look like I'm loosing some weight, dontcha think???  I love Wednesdays!

Weekend Rewind

Wow.  What a busy weekend!  Saturday we got to go with our Mommy to that baby's house we always talk about.  And we got to LICK the baby! I never realized how good babies taste...like sugar!  We can't wait to go back over there...

Oh wait, Sunday!  Sunday was fun too!  Our friend, Boston, came over for a long overdue play date!  Dang, that boy has energy!  Lucky for me though, I love playing.  Ok, fine, I love playing fetch with just me and the toy but it is nice to have a playful guy around here every once in a while.  By brother, Rex, isn't big on anything that isn't done on the couch...

Anyways, it's about time for bed.  Can't wait til tomorrow, when our friend Melanie comes over!!
