Finally, some updates!

Things have been crazy and busy for us around here lately - hence the lack of posts.  Sorry about that!

First and foremost, my brother Rex, healed well after his knee surgery.  He's still getting way more attention that my sister and I but I suppose he deserves it.  With two surgeries already this year and all, he needs a little TLC.  There was one night during his recovery, when he was still having to sleep in a kennel with the CONE OF SHAME (ha) on, that Mommy got a good picture of his miserableness...

Poor baby, Rex.

Anyhow, over the last few weeks, we've got to do a lot of fun things.  Like babysitting this super cute girl, Addie.  I feel like Flor is more Rex's side-kick so it was nice to have one of my own for the weekend.

Addie, bottom right.  Isn't she adorable?!

This last week we got to visit our Grandma and Grandpa's as Rex had follow-up appointments - one for his knee and one for his liver.  We had so much fun on our mini-vacay and we even found out that the liver cancer they found in Rex almost 7 months ago has NOT come back!  Woof Woof!  I was very worried that my brother was going to have to go through more surgery - not only is that painful and exhausting, but I'm tired of him getting all the attention.  Who wouldn't be?!

Oh and how could I forget - we have a roommate now - a human one.  I have no idea what our Mommy was thinking when she said it was ok for another human to live with us but lucky for us, we kinda like her and she seems to like us.  We haven't "broken in" her room yet so we'll see how much she still likes us after we get that taken care of!

Anyhow, that's all for now. Until next time...

Guest Post from Mommy!!

Yes, this is Bo and Rex's Mommy here!  I thought I would give you all an update on my boys, mainly Rex.  We went to the vet this past week for a check up.  They did blood work, got a stool sample, checked his ears, the whole 9-yards.  Both Bo and Rex were subjected to this.  What a mean Mommy I am huh?!?!

Anyhow, later on that day, I got a call from the vet with results from one of the blood test and unfortunately, Rex's liver "levels" are rising again.  At this point, they're still within normal range, but they are rising nonetheless.  Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.  I certainly don't want him to have to go through all the cancer stuff again (needle pricks, ultrasounds, surgery, etc) and I'm sure he would rather not as well!

And don't worry - the boys will be back to blogging later this week!
